Abstract

Moulvi Ibrahim Mir Sialkoti was the  school mate of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the teacher of  Faiz Ahmed Faiz and a great religious scholar of 20th century.He was also the student of Iqbals' teacher Molvi Mir Hassan and Maulana Ghulam Hassan. He  got command over  Urdu, Arabic, persian  and punjabi  languages also.He learnt  Tafsir,Hadith,Arabic language and other ethical knowledges by Hazrat Abdul Mannan wazirabadi who was a pious and practically religious man and got command over all these knowledges.Moulana Sialkoti was a great Urdu prose writer and has written more than  one hundred books based on different topics like divine and religious knowledge and  Urdu literature. His literary and academic work consists of comparative study of different religions, Tafsir of holy Quran and life of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). The  main objective of this Article is to provide awareness about literary and religious services of Maoulana Sialkoti and make these services more beneficial for those who love knowledge and literature.
