Intellectual and Technical Analysis of Roshan Nageenvi's Poems

Abstract

Roshan Nageenvi (1925-1989) was a Urdu poet, who wrote Ghazals, Nazams in his forty six years of literary life. He wrote all famous traditional and latest  types of Urdu poems. He used so many topics like love, philosophy, religion, equality etc. to flourish his poems. Roshan Nageenvi had very good command on art of Urdu poems. Because the quality and quantity of his poems , he became a very important poet of Urdu poems.This poem, which started from the Deccan, has over time established its roots in the Urdu language with the finest creations. Almost every poet of Urdu language has created a poem. This journey starts with genres like Masnawi, Qaseedah, Murtiya, Masamt, Qatah, Sanzafbandh, Tarjeebandh and then reaches the modern poem. Similarly, from the mention of religion, Sufism and festivals to the poetry of every important topic of life, Urdu poetry has an impressive history.
