Dr .Humaira Ashfaq’s Fiction Collection (Katboon kay Darmiyan main)Concept of Women

Abstract

Women is an important member of our society who plays an important role in every field of life but unfortunately, the patriarchal system cleverly set the situation against women by targeting her as an opponent. Her own identity has been lost somewhere due to outdated traditions and customs and every era has devised strategies to keep her oppressed by not allowing her to take stand for herself. These exploitative attitudes against women has been exposed by Dr. Humaira Ashfaq in her fictional collection “Katboon K Darmiyan.In her stories women is seen striving to achieve her dreams. In this research article, the hypocritical aspect of the society setting a women into a false standard of society has been expose in the light of   Dr. Humaira  Ashfaq,s fiction.
