Open Access & Copyright Policy

The Zauq-e-Tahqeeq (Research Journal) publishes research articles that are completely open access and instantly accessible for reading, downloading, and sharing. A Creative Commons license that permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any format as long as the original work is properly cited governs the publication of articles.

The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit, and publicly display the work, as well as a right to create and distribute derivative works in any digital medium for any lawful purpose, with due credit given to the author(s), as well as the right to print a few copies for their own use.

At least one online repository supported by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or other reputable organization that seeks to enable open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving receives a complete copy of the work and all supplemental materials, including a copy of the permission as stated above, immediately following initial publication.

Notes:

Open access is a property of individual works, not necessarily journals or publishers. Community standards, rather than copyright law, will continue to provide the mechanism for enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of the published work, as they do now.
