Abstract

Just as Iqbal’s poetry contains chant, thought and pleasure, in the same way his letters are also filled with wisdom and philosophy, humility and compassion, sincerity and devotion, heart and love. In these letters, samples of the best rate of Iqbal’s poetry can be found. Such an essence of Iqbal’s mental and intellectual harmony, personality, thinking and biography is found in these letters, not only all the colors of his life emerge from the sense, but also his ideas can be studied in these letters. Therefore, it would be correct to say that Iqbal’s letters are the best source for evaluating his personality. So, the interest of Iqbal’s letters is not in their pomp, colour, elegance and literature but in the importance and greatness of his ideas.
