A study of Jaun Elia's poetry: in the light of Narration and Innovation

Abstract

In the twentieth century, a star appeared from Amroha who showed his poetic skills. The name of this unique star is jaun Elia. He is one of the most prominent and modern Urdu poet. He was proficient in several language as namely Arabic, Urdu, Persian, Sanskrit, Pahlavi and Hebrew. Jaun's knowledge of Islamic philosophy, History, logic, Islamic Sufi tradition, western literature and the event of Karbala was as vast as an encyclopedia. He also entered the essence of this knowledge in his poetry, and with the help of descriptive knowledge end innovative knowledge, i.e simile, metaphor, synec Doche, insinuation, sanat-e- Takrar, sanat-e- Anagram, sanat-e- Antithesis, sanat-e- separation, sanat-e- Allusion, sanat-e- poetical Aetiology, sanat-e- Marat-ul- Nazir, he created colorful charm, beauty, heartiness, and flavor in his speech in terms of words and meaning.
