Research and critical articles published in magazines and journals are crucial in deciding the rank and quality of the literature of a language. Some of these articles grace the books and pave the way for students and teachers to understand literature, while most of them guide only the readers of a period and then, as the lost-pages, go to oblivion under the dust of time. Although Dr. Tabassum Kashmiri's main introduction is his literary history, his research and critical articles, which are more than 100 in number, published in various journals, are a testament to his critical and investigative nature. Some of these essays have become the embellishment of his books, and most have been engulfed in the folds of time. In this article, Dr. Tabassum Kashmiri’s unpublished prose collection (essays) has been evaluated through research and critical study.
