Abstract

Mir Dard is a famous poet of the eighteenth century.His poetry reveals many eternal truths. The name of Mir Dard has become inseparable in Sufism. His time was full of anxiety and disturbance which intensified the concept of Tasawur e Fana in his poetry. His poetry has a clear and profound impression of Tasawur e Fana. Tasawur e Fana is a mysterious and sheer truth which nobody can denies. This concept is beautifully expressed by Mir Dard. It is one of his most frequently themes discussed in his poetry. He perceives this concept from different angles. This article seeks to highlight all the concept of Dard’s Tasawur e Fana.
