A review of Iqbal Shanasi of the magazine "Qomi Zaban"

Abstract

During the life of Allama Iqbal, his poems and thoughts were published in contemporary magazines and newspapers. This tradition, which began with "Makhzan", is still continue in countless magazines and journals around the world. Hakim Yusuf Hassan published the first Iqbal number in 1932 before Nerang Khayal. He is considered as a Pakistani national poet. His thoughts and ideas are published in Pakistani newspapers, magazines and journals. The “Qomi Zaban” magazine of Anjuman-e-Tarqi Urdu has maintained a very strong tradition of Iqbal Studies. Since January 2000 to December 2018, a total of 203 articles on Allama Iqbal's thoughts have been published. There is a tradition of printing in which articles of renowned researchers and critics of the country and world. The proliferation of articles by confessional experts suggests that Anjuman-e-Tarqi Urdu is not only aware of the importance of Allama Iqbal's thought but also gives it priority. In publishing critical articles on Allama Iqbal, he not only showed generosity but was also in the forefront in publishing special issues. Its editors always gave priority to Iqbal’s Thoughts.
