A lot of work has been done on the trend of nostalgia in the genre of sketching in Urdu literature. Irfan Javed also adopted this trend in his sketches, this article has been written under this trend. Nostalgia not only allows the writer to get lost in memories, but also inspires him to derive meaning from his past, understand the complexities of the present, and maintain a cultural continuity.
