Abstract

It is a genre of biographical prose literature in which the biographer presents the circumstances and events of his life, experiences and feelings to the reader. The Bahawalpur region has a special identity in science, literature and mysticism. Munshi Daulat Rai, Mirza Akhtar, Munshi Muhammad Anwar Feroze, Maulvi Muhammad Hafeez-ur-Rehman Hafeez, Noor Muhammad Maharvi and Nawab Muhammad Sadiq Khan Abbasi are among the earliest writers of this land. Zahid Ali Wasti, Masood Hassan Shehab, Asad The names of Ali Ahmed, Mehr Mohammad Bakhsh Novl and Idrees Ahmad Aftab are importantAre Zahid Ali Wasti has beautifully told the story of his life in his past. "Past Memories" meets the standard of a complete autobiography. It would not be out of place to call it the best autobiography of modern times.
