This study examines the commodification of the body in Hafeez Khan's novel “Hyder Goth Jo Bakhshan” within the interconnected frameworks of capital and power. The novel portrays a social order in which the human body, particularly that of women and marginalized individuals, is transformed into a commodity for the accumulation of wealth, political influence, and institutional authority. Set against the socio-political landscape of Sindh, the narrative reveals how Haji Bakhshan constructs an extensive network by exploiting prostitution, trafficking, and personal desires to secure the patronage of bureaucrats, politicians, police officials, and legal professionals. The study further explores the characters of Allah Dino Ubaid, Commissioner Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Tungar, Advocate Rizwan Hashmi, and other influential figures to demonstrate how economic interests, sexual gratification, and political ambitions reinforce one another in sustaining structures of domination and corruption.
