Resistance in Pakistani Urdu Novel, in Social Perspective (1947 to 1980)
Abstract
Since man is a social animal, the society provides various ways to improve his personality and also lays down some rules and regulations. In some places, differences are revealed in these principles and some resistance behaviors are seen. These differences and resistance behaviors of the society have been part of the narrative in the novels of Urdu novelists. An attempt has been made to highlight various aspects of social resistance in Urdu novels. These novels include Chand Gahan, Nigri Nigri Phira Masafar, Khuda ki Basti, Angan, Larki Ek.... Dil Ke Virane, Issi Shama Ke Parwane, Chehra ba Chehra Robaro, Garg Shab, Akhir Shab ka Humsafar Rahi, Rohi and Zameen are included. Humsafar Rahi
