Abstract

Maqsood Jafari is a versatile poet, a great teacher, a philosopher, a thinker and an intellectual. Due to his beauty, delicacy and fragrance, he is prominent in column writing. He is one of the most popular columnists in Urdu and English. His writings are unique in terms of style and rich in thought absorption. He keeps a close eye on religion, politics and society. He has neither uniformity of topics nor traditionalism. He is a  poet having unique styles. Maqsood Jafari has a unique place in literature as a person who lights the candle of his part, is optimistic, predicts the future with positive thoughts and hopes, represents feelings like love, compassion and equality. His columns have a very prominent status which is the cause of growth in Urdu literature.
