Abstract

Anwar Jamal is a great poet, a versatile poet of Naat, author, philosopher and an artist. He has a special place in Urdu literature. He has shown remarkable performance in writing prose as well as Urdu poetry. He tried many genres of Urdu poetry but has a unique and distinct identity in Naat. By writing three Naatiya collections in Urdu literature, he added valuable treasures to Urdu Naat. In his Naats, the intellectual and technical requirements have been fulfilled with full justice and diligence. He has also included topics such as good Uswa E Hasana, Seerat E Tayyaba and Ikhlaq E Hasana in the Naat along with describing the Beauty of the Holy Prophet (?).
