Abstract

Qamar Ali Abbasi is a renowned figure in Urdu literature, known as a writer, travelogue author, columnist, playwright, and journalist. Among the travel writers of the 20th century, he established a unique style, mode of expression, and narrative. In his travelogues, he maintained the essence of truth, emotions, sentiments, and human nature. He wrote thirty-one travelogues, which reflect history, civilization, and culture. Through his travelogues, he familiarized readers with the importance of history and cultural elements. His works enlightened readers about the historical and cultural aspects of other countries around the world.Through his travelogues, he not only informed readers about past events and circumstances but also awakened the consciousness within humans that inspires them to reflect on the present and strive to create a better future.
