Akbar Ellha Abadi is one of the most noteworthy poets of Urdu literature. He is a significant voice of the twentieth century and one of the early critics of the colonial system. He criticized the colonial system by using the literay devices of humor and subtlety. In this respect, he is the first poet of his style and for this subtle style he is famous too. But at the same time if we look to his letters, he comes out as a good prose writer. Akbar is a reformer of the nation and often his reformism is proved by his poetry.
