The Concept of Peace in Naseer Ahmed Nasir’s Poetry

Abstract

Dr. Naseer Ahmed Nasir is a leading contemporary modern poet whose works beautifully and sensitively present human values, international harmony, and especially the concept of peace. In his poems, amid borders, wars, and power conflicts, he places human beings and humanity at the center of attention. This is why his poetic style is not only intellectually mature, but also gives new literary meaning to themes such as peace, love, and mutual respect. His poems reflect both the inner and outer worlds of human experience. He portrays the fears, restlessness, and longing for peace within the human heart, while also depicting the oppression, wars, and unrest occurring in the world. The complexity in his poetry does not arise from difficult ideas, but from the gravity of the issues he chooses to explore. His poetry contains love and beauty, yet it also holds a deep awareness of social conditions and the lack of peace ۔ qualities that strongly connect his work to the theme of peace in the modern age.
