Abstract

There is a humanistic approach in Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi's short stories. His philosophy of humanism is not in conflict with religion but is compatible with it. The center and axis of his humanism is to get the right to live for the oppressed people living in the society. His pen raises voice for the oppressed characters, who belongs to the poor or middle class and are humiliated by the society. The color of humanism is a prominent reference in all his fiction. In this research paper, an attempt has been made to examine his short stories characters in this context.
