Abstract

In this article, the services of Dr. Muhammad Rafi e ud Din regarding Iqbal have been highlighted. He has described Iqbal’s philosophy of self in an Islamic context. In his view, Islam has wisely given Iqbal’s philosophy of self. Here the meaning of Iqbal’s self is highlighted. He has done a great job regarding Iqbal. He also served as the first director of Iqbal academy Pakistan. He understood Iqbal’s message and aims and explained them further. This article gives a complete picture of biography and literary services of Dr. Muhammad Rafi ud Din. His book “wisdom of Iqbal” is very important with reference to Allama Iqbal. Here is his research and critical review. Dr. Rafi ud Din’s significant efforts to understand Iqbal’s philosophy of self-have been appreciated. Through Iqbal's knowledge, Iqbal's message, philosophy, poetry and his scholarly and literary endeavors are brought to the fore, which promotes the addition of confessions and perfections of Iqbalism.
